Dr. Kripashankar Mishra is an orthopaedic surgeon with approximately 15 years of professional experience in orthopaedic surgery, trauma management and emergency patient care.

Born in Bhagdewa village, Tehsil Hanumana, present-day Mauganj district, Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mishra spent his early childhood in his native village. As the son of an Army serviceman, he subsequently lived and studied in different towns while moving with his family.

He received his schooling through Kendriya Vidyalayas and later pursued his medical education at Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, one of the established medical institutions in Madhya Pradesh, associated with Hamidia Hospital and Kamla Nehru Hospital, Bhopal.

After completing his postgraduate medical training, Dr. Mishra began his professional journey in trauma and emergency care. He worked at Erika Hospital, Shajapur, and was also involved in assisting in complex orthopaedic procedures with experienced surgeons in the region.

He subsequently worked for approximately 10 consecutive years at Vindhya Hospital & Reserch Centre, where he served as an in-house orthopaedic surgeon. During this period, he gained extensive experience in managing orthopaedic injuries, trauma cases and a wide range of surgical conditions.

He was also involved in the introduction of joint replacement surgery in Rewa, and over the course of his career has performed and assisted in a large number of orthopaedic and trauma procedures.

Dr. Mishra has also provided surgical and orthopaedic services at hospitals including Life Care Hospital, Sidhi; Ayushman Hospital, Rewa; Rewa Hospital, Rewa; Mishra Nursing Home, Sidhi; and Guru Vashisht Hospital & Trauma Center, Mauganj.

Today, as Director of Guru Vashisht Hospital & Trauma Center, his focus is on developing a dependable healthcare facility for the people of Mauganj and surrounding communities.
